How do newly added ICD10 codes update to patient profile in chart after patient is admitted? It only allows adding codes in QA and when creating a new patient but not when in edit patient in chart.
How do newly added ICD10 codes update to patient profile in chart after patient is admitted? It only allows adding codes in QA and when creating a new patient but not when in edit patient in chart.

I’m trying to see the new codes I’ve added be updated to the patient profile so I can print all the codes. Sometimes my coworkers won’t add all the icd 10 codes needed and we go back to add some after admitting the patient but it won’t show those new ones on the patient profile sheet in the patient chart.
I BELIEVE THE DX CODES ARE ADDED IN THE OASIS. THE CLAIMS SHOULD PICK UP THE CODES FROM THE OASIS
Yes it is in home health. It should pick the Dx codes but it is not transfering to the patient profile.
oh. ive never noticed that the dx codes transfer to the pt profile......has it done that for quite some time? appearing in the pateint profile that is...........
