Has anybody ever entered a Medicare secondary into Axxess DDE? I was told when we go this system that Axxess did not handle any secondary billing. I asked if we could enter the secondaries through RCM and Axxess DDE and I was told yes. However, I am entering my first Medicare Secondary and I do not see where I can entry the primary insurance or enter secondary section such as patient responsibility and co-insurance.

You cannot do a home health secondary through DDE blackscreen. You could at one time but not anymore. You have to use a third party your Medicare PRO ACE software. The patient is Medicare secondary to cover his deductibles and co-pays. I had logged a case with Axxess and I have been told to send it through RCM instead of Axxess DDE. I have not set down to try it yet but hopefully that will work. Thanks

I tried to enter it through RCM but I cannot find a place to enter the Claim Adjustment segment (CAS) which is the section that we cannot enter in the FISS DDE system. So I logged a case and they are reviewing it.
