SN did a recert and then several days into the new cert period did a discharge. Now, when I try to go over the recert, the plan of care (purple) section is completely blank. I'm assuming SN did goals met when he did the discharge. Is there a way to get the Plan of Care section to come back so that I don't have to re-do the entire Plan of Care section for the recert 485? PLEASE HELP!

Hello @Donna Graham . Thank you for reaching out to us in the User Community. Has the QA process for the OASIS Recert and OASIS Discharge been complete and assessments submitted to CMS? To understand your workflow a bit better, please provide the current status of these documents in the Patient's Chart (ex. submitted with signature, exported, etc.) Thank you, Stephanie
The Discharge OASIS is in QA but usually it doesn't wipe out the Plan of Care. I went ahead and just added the Plan of Care and had him look it over and sign it. I just hate when this happens. The recert was in QA until I returned it to him and we found out the Plan of Care was just gone. I resolved it by recreating it but I feel like there's got to be a way to get it back. Nothing had been exported but the patient WAS discharged instead of Active so maybe someone screwed up by changing the patient's status. I honestly don't do discharges so I don't know who to blame but I just went ahead and put them in for him and had him sign it again.
