Luna 12 PT, DPT
Luna received a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in her native country of Colombia 27 years ago. She received her doctor of physical therapy degree from AT Still University in Arizona in 2013.
Luna has had the opportunity to help people with a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions in diverse settings, including fitness and wellness, inpatient and outpatient care, and home health services. She also has training and experience in specialty areas, such as chronic pain, pelvic pain, bowel & bladder dysfunction, and Parkinson’s disease. She became an LSVT BIG certified clinician in 2015.
Luna feels strongly that optimal health is the result of the interplay of body, mind, emotions, spirit, environment, and community. She recently received her degree as a nutritional coach from the Nutritarian Education Institute. She has started coaching women suffering from chronic pain.
Luna is passionate about her family, conservation, native gardening, her chickens and cat. She practices mindfulness, tai chi and watercoloring on a regular basis.
